Antique Safes
Until the 19th century iron safes were essential to store valuable items
and they're now exceptional example of the locksmiths' craft of the time.
Their wrought-iron decorations and complicated mechanisms are a testament to the expertise of antique crafts.
Our collection of antique safes include mostly Italian and French safe from the early 19th century, when the safes were covered with wrought-iron rivets and straps on all sides, a typical decorative feature which is common to most of our safes.
The simpler wooden interiors are revealed after all the locks and the secrets that they usually conceal are opened.
